The Menders
The Menders Ltd was founded in 1996 by current proprietors Simon & Jackie Oliver, who have been running the enterprise ever since.
The company has been built on a knowledgeable, experienced background as Simon had been trained with the nationally recognised Moores company and went on to achieve a managerial position with Mr Minute.
After opening our first premises in Bridport, Dorset, momentum within the company, and popularity in the town, grew quickly and having built a valuable customer base in the Dorset town we found ourselves in a position to expand. So The Menders took the name across the border into Somerset and we set up home in the small town of Crewkerne.
Our presence here was welcomed into the community and soon a substantial customer base was built and our 'no job to small' ethos proved to be popular and still remains the cornerstone quality within the company.
Our team here at The Menders, past & present, have worked hard to reach a high standard of work across our range of services, it has become very important to us to aim for a high standard wherever possible. Indeed, one of our own achieved no small feat of UK Shoe Repair Champion in 2014 and then onto the USA, in 2015, to win the World Championship! Rest assured knowing that we bring that level of care, professionalism and detail to every item you trust us with.
Years of quality service has allowed us to build a trusting customer base, and our 'no job to small' attitude means we turn nothing away, meeting our customers needs wherever possible.
