Huge congratulations to Al for winning the 2014 JR Shoe Repairer Of The Year Competition, announced on the 14th September. We're all very proud of him and we're excited to see this become a stepping stone into a big future for Al in the shoe repair trade. The criteria of this competition were to produce a leather half sole and heel repair on one of a pair of shoes and Al's unique repair can be seen below - exploiting ambitious staining and inking, as well as the bespoke heel cut and arched graft of the sole.
